Congratulations on your growing family! I love capturing expecting families and newborns. For maternity photos, I recommend planning to have the session at 25-28 weeks. For newborn photos, we'll work together on the best timing for you.

FAQs

 

  • My style is to utilize what you already have at home (swaddles, blankets, a boppy pillow, etc) so that the photos most authentically represent you and your family. If you have specific requests regarding props or a vision you’re hoping for, let’s chat!

  • Most newborn sessions take place at your home so that the experience is most comfortable for baby and for you. Those first weeks are hard, so let’s make it easy for you and your family!

    Maternity sessions can take place in your home or elsewhere. I’m eager to hear your vision and help you bring it to life.

  • For maternity photos, I recommend between 28 and 36 weeks. Your bump is bumping, and you’re hopefully not feeling too tired.

    The best timing for newborn photos truly depends on your preference. Some families like to capture the baby at its tiniest, and others prefer to wait a couple of months until the baby’s personality begins to appear.

    We can also discuss a Baby’s First Year package that includes newborn (1-2 weeks), 5-6 months, and 1st birthday photos so you have a comprehensive overview of your baby’s growth.
